Our Philosophy

The breeding stock that we currently possess has been selectively developed over a period of many years and acquired by us with the sole intent of consistently producing world class gun dogs/companions for the discriminating walking bird hunter. These dogs develop quickly and produce results in the field at an early age and are solid in physical structure and temperament. Our dogs intensively seek out birds and point them staunchly. In addition to this, it is the endeavor of our breeding program to further enhance the rate of frequency and consistency at which a strong natural retrieving instinct and love of water occur. Our pups are guaranteed against serious hereditary health problems for the first 24 months of their lives. We will replace a dog diagnosed with a serious hereditary health problem with another pup upon return of the dog to us for confirmation of the condition by our personal veterinarian.

We strive to produce dogs of superior high quality, while maintaining our quantity levels at a point where we can have personal hands on involvement at all times. We believe it is of the utmost importance in the development of our pups and started dogs to maintain frequent daily human interaction in order to facilitate proper socialization and expedite the training process. This includes a limited amount of handling of our pups beginning the day they are born, which gradually increases with each passing week. We condition our pups to frequent interaction with children from a very young age. They are introduced to the outdoor environment, in limited amounts, at 4 to 5 weeks of age. We feel that this intensively managed socialization program, along with close personal supervision of the environment and training practices from the day a pup is born until it is delivered to you, produces a superior gun dog/companion in the field and in the home.
